Thursday, January 29, 2015 - Lovely nose, rose petal, damp earth, hints of sauvage, red berry fruits, anise, and tea leaves. The palate is very elegant, beautifully balanced, with lovely red fruits, spice, and minerality. The tannins are well integrated and the acidity is fresh and beguiling. This is very good, a very feminine, elegant style of Gevrey, but quite tasty. Will improve for 2-4 years, but definitely seems meant for midterm drinking rather than long term.
