Thursday, June 20, 2013 - Deep ruby color. Shy nose of purple plum. Abundant fruit. Soft tannins, with a slightly tart, but pleasant finish. More grenache than syrah character. What's not to like at this price point. Much better than a simple quaffer that will enhance savory food or any social occasion. Yes, it's New World in style, but it's less than $11/in case quantities.
