Saturday, May 7, 2016 - This is a very young with a big upside. The nose currently is a little dominated by oak, but with air this starts to fade and reveals lots of black currant, plum, blueberry, tobacco, ash, graphite, crushed stone, hints of herbs, and a bit of spice. The palate is lovely, with freshness and a delicious salinity, the tannins are well integrated, and the flavor concentration is excellent. This needs a few more years to integrate the oak for me, but once it does it will be stellar.
