Monday, October 25, 2010 - Dinner with Fips/Rike. Short impressions: Mature color, very nice mature and complex nose of leather, cedar, tobacco, pencil shavings. On the palate also quite mature, a bit tired and flat. Still a very nice drink but clearly a wine that has lost a bit of it's appeal but still it is a joy to drink a fully mature Bordeaux. The '93 Las Cases drank at the same time was clearly the better wine. Very good plus. Drink up.
