Wednesday, October 3, 2012 - There seems to be some bottle variation with these. The last bottle I had was almost bordering on the fried side, bricking, near past it's prime. But this bottle was signing right out of the gate. Perfect balance of fruit, acidity, tannin, and oak. Seamless. It may have also been due to the fact that I poured the bottle through an aerator first and then let it open for another 30 min. I'll have to see what my third bottle does. But this bottle was excellent. Not your typical Michael Browne (Kosta Browne) fruit and alcohol bomb. Although slightly over 14% ABV (14.3), it was hardly noticable. Bravo!
