Monday, June 22, 2015 - Popped and poured. Big nose of ripe cherry and raspberry with a hint of asian spice and cola. Some vanilla and sweet oak notes coming through as well. Similar flavors on the palate with ripe, slightly candied red fruit and some more oak derived flavors. Medium- acidity, medium tannins and a silky, creamy mouthfeel. A very tasty pinot but a bit simple and could have used a bit more acid to make it pop.
