Saturday, October 5, 2013 - This is a very interesting wine. It has the ripeness and richness I expect, but it's more in the herbaceous/floral/spicy mode than sweetly ripe fruit. There's plenty of dark berry fruit, but it's totally dry - none of that impression of sugar that tribidrag/zin wines normally have. Very good depth on the mid-palate, and a lovely, dry berry/cedary finish.
