1989 Château Prieuré-Lichine

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Thursday, January 16, 2014 - Aerated to decanter 1 hour, served non-blind. Color still holding, though pretty well bricked. Polished aromas of cigar box, cedar chest, some pencil shavings and dusty red and black berries. The flavors mirror the nose on this medium-bodied beauty. Gains complexity and even a little weight by the second glass. Long, seamless finish that instantly brings a smile to your face as you slowly close your eyes and give in to the wine, and its impressive journey. Just a joy to drink. 12,5% abv, drink thru 2019, highly recommended
