85 Points

Wednesday, June 19, 2013 - Decanted 3+ hours and had with grilled steak, potatoes and veggies. I like this Cab style - medium-bodied, restrained, elegant - but it's still too young to drink. Tannins and acidity wobbled the structure all over the place. Nothing is integrated and the fruit is completely subdued. Even the nose was hard to pin down. Given the pedigree of this winery, along with a promising core, I'd say it has promise but lay it down until at least 2016.

I like Abeja cabs with 8-10 years of age. Anything less (to me) is a waste of potential.
