Monday, May 18, 2015 - This wine can be superlative value for the price (around £9): dense, structured and complex. But this vintage is a disappointment: too ripe, too sweet, too soft, too smooth. All the edges, spikiness and rustic interest that are the hallmarks of authentic, characterful, generic CdR have been ironed out. This is too much of a supermarket-friendly crowd pleaser.
