Thursday, March 26, 2015 - Love the super trad label
very distinctive nose - nutty, toasty (not oak) a little oxidised perhaps but colour is still very pale
very dry initially, masses of acidity not a lot of fruit and then hugely creamy, nutty and long
Very long
Unusual wine, won't be for everyone but I really like it
Tastes old-fashioned but it's not funky, everything is very controlled and classical.
I can see this ageing for decades.
It's not cheap £22
