Monday, September 24, 2012 - Drank alongside an 85 Jaboulet La Chapelle. Very different than the Jaboulet and I liked the Delas more. Smooth red fruit, black pepper, juniper, dried flowers and dark earth on the nose. Sappy fruit with a meaty undercurrent on the palate and more black fruited. Again, tannins fully resolved and fully mature but plenty of time left.
