Saturday, December 13, 2014 - The 2003 Duhart Milon sports a ruby appearance, lighter than both the Malescot and Barton. Aromatics of cassis, pencil lead, cedar, forest floor are easy to spot, quite gentle and comforting. On the palate, very well balanced, fresh, filled with black and red fruits, smokey taste. Good amount of acidity, fine powdery tannins, medium finish. Although a bit linear in nature, this is a very well made 2003, and excellent with food.
