Tuesday, August 6, 2013 - Not only would I not pick this as a Barossa, I didn't even pick it as a Shiraz. Lots of mineral notes on the nose with red berry, black raspberry and plenty of indications that this is an Italian varietal. The palette is crisp, mineral-focused and fills out with a big, spicy mid palette. The finish is savory and refined and I really like this.
