Saturday, January 16, 2016 - Coravin fun - Burgundys to drink in 2016 (My place, parramatta, sydney): From Coravin. On the nose slightly sweet red cherry and plum backed by very slight stalkiness. A bit of cream and cedar and spice. It smells really lovely. In the mouth the wine is juicy, with initial sweet cherry that slightly sours and is joined by some very subtle herbaceous notes. Some silky tannins and gentle spice. This wine really is wonderfully balanced and refreshing.
