Friday, June 20, 2014 - On first opening, no discernible nose, after decanting a mild earthy nose is predominate. Earthy notes on the tongue as well, followed by a hint of vanilla. Herbal notes also starting to emerge. Very mild tannins on this one with a medium body. Overall a decent cab, just not a bold in your face one. Would pair well with lamb or even pizza, but probably not a nice ribeye.
