Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - A nice southern Rhone style wine that goes very well with a red sauce - a great "pizza" wine. Dark fruit with a lighter body, cedar and light plus tannic finish with a sangiovese type of grittiness, which is probably why it went so well with a red sauce. We also describe the finish as biting; this makes it better with food than on its own.
