Sunday, May 31, 2015 - Excellent-drinking 2010 Bordeaux. This hits all the key notes. Strong, inviting nose, earthy terroir, round fruit, silky tannins, nice acid from start to finish. Boysenberry fruit and graphite notes provide character. Vanilla-cocoa spicy cherry stem finish. Fruit-forward, modern style provides intense fruit to complement its overall elegance. Top-notch winemaking at work here. This is a must-try if you like Merlot. So pleasant a drinker that the absence of an age-worthy backbone becomes a mere afterthought. Drink now and enjoy.
