Sunday, April 20, 2014 - This is in many ways your typical grocery store Cab, but it is better than the very basic ones, and not as good as the best ones. Dark color, scant nose. Very, very fruity on the palate, with soft tannins. It's partially redeemed from being too jammy by a nice undercurrent of earthiness and a little oak. Touch of sweetness on the finish. Not my style of Cabernet at all, but a little better than your typical offering.
