Sunday, June 15, 2014 - low depth of color, red rim. aromatically has some simple red fruits, some simple flowers, no new oak, no minerality. on the palate moderate acidity, a fleshy midpalate, average amount of moderately ripe tannins, moderate alcohol. great balance, short length, ok intensity, low on complexity. wine has decent finesse, a really nice texture, good expression of place. wine is a bit past its prime, i liked it better when there was more brightness with its simple, charming flavors. good wine.
