Saturday, August 30, 2014 - From the same batch as the other bottles I have reviewed, this wine was a bit darker, with a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose showed lemons, green apple, honeysuckle, and white stone.

In the mouth, this wine developed quite well over the course of 6 hours. It was certainly at its best toward the end of this decant. It showed a ripe, rich texture with crisp acidity buried in substantial fruit and glycerine. The finish was quite long.

While this wine will not compete with Grand Cru Raveneaus from great years, it is certainly a very nice wine that will continue to age well. As I have said before about Raveneau, buy it if you can find it at any reasonable price.
