Thursday, April 18, 2013 - This bottle was a recent release from the Chateau and in perfect condition. Great nose of spice, strawberry, meat and cedar. With all the spice, blind I would have thought this was a full Romanee St Vivant based on the nose. On the palate more meaty tones with background of bright strawberry and spice. Nice minerality and a medicinal note every now and then. Open, rich and smooth. Long detailed finish. Clearly the last bottle I had was not a good example of this wine.
