Saturday, July 2, 2016 - Dried strawberry, pungent currant pepper and a honeyed edge on the finish. Lands softly on a bed of tannins. Definitely in a peak drinking window right now. Impressive effort from a wet vintage. A testament to the age-worthiness of Châteauneuf from Beaucastel.
