Wednesday, April 13, 2016 - Two and a half years since my first bottle and this is still showing extremely youthful, primary and tannic. Dark fruits, pepper and licorice. Went well with steak, which ameliorated the structure a bit. Seems very well poised for aging, as the fruit is there to balance the tannins. If the "Old Vines" bottling is this structured, when should the single vineyard designates wines be drunk? These are serious efforts indeed.
