Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - Drank in a blind tasting with old wines: Les Murgers Nuits-St. Georges 1er cru '99 the de Pez '99 and Ch. Tournefeuille '00. The Tournefeuille won hands down, being likely at its prime point. The Nuits-St. Georges had already passed its prime and the de Pez was just over its prime, but still solid enough to be good and in 2 people's minds to be the best. All 3 had very pleasant full nose, with again the Tournefeuille being the best.
