92 Points

Wednesday, June 24, 2015 - Eucalyptus and a hint of band-aid on the nose. On the palate, black cherry, blackberry, and prune, with a black pepper note and strong acidity on the medium to long finish. This is an "international style" wine, and I would have had difficulty identifying the variety blind -- Barbera probably would not have come to mind -- but it is undeniably appealing and well-made wine. This is very good for what it is, but if you are looking for a unique expression of Barbera that is sensitive to its terroir, look somewhere else.
