Tuesday, October 8, 2013 - Great food wine, but would be good on it's own, as an appetizer. As the winery states, oaky and herby. The smoothness was surprising, no bite at all on the finish. We drank the bottle over an hour, and it opened up a little, but didn't change that noticeably. Dark fruit flavors, with good oak (almost overpowering). Definitely will buy again.
