Sunday, May 31, 2015 - This bottle, now 3+ years out, gave immediate strong notes of cola, leather, and olive. Also kirsch and dark fruit. Certainly has evolved some in the bottle in the sense that it has mellowed and flavors are softer. Olive has developed. Sandalwood and brown sugar come out as it opens in the glass. Just fantastic. My personal preference would be to enjoy this wine younger for its vibrancy. Either way one of the best QPRs out there. Delightfully food friendly especially with Asian dishes
