Tuesday, July 21, 2015 - Just a hint of heat on the nose, with red and dark fruit, along with a prominent dusty garrigue. The herbal notes, along with the dusty stone smell leads into a palate full of velvety tannins, with lots of herbal, earthy flavors peeking through the blackberry, plum, and dark cherry fruit. This is not necessarily the style of Pinot that really grabs your attention, as there is nothing that is really "in your face" about it, but it is very well made, all the same and would pair well with a wide array of foods.
