Friday, May 15, 2015 - Very light gold hue, bright and shiny.
Medium-powered nose invokes apple, lemon, honeydew, white grapefruit, schist and limestone. Very little influence of wood.
Creamy and full, a bit hot, but overall I think this is a wonderful interpretation of Chardonnay from a Macon point of view. I also perceive low-ish acidity but it seems offset by the minerality and body. Chablis, without the "cut". And at the $16 level, a very good deal.
