Friday, January 4, 2013 - This wine is under several names in Cellar Tracker. This California "Super Tuscan" blend is 74% Cab, 14% Sangiovese and 12% Merlot. So you find reviews under Cabernet and Sangiovese. The wine is good to very good representation of an Italian ST but the Napa Cab comes through as the leader so the structure is less tannic (softer) than its Italian inspiration. The Berries and Current elements are strongest. The nose is subdued. Enjoyed the wine with a home made veggie pizza and it paired well with the cheeses, eggplant, mushroom and pesto elements. I think it would also do well with any red sauce.
