Wednesday, July 29, 2015 - This was supposed to be a pop n pour but ended up being a break and pour through a strainer. Everything worked out in the end after some bottle saving techniques and I am so glad it did. The nose on this had the high toned incense, pepper and berry fruit that was reminiscent of Rayas if only a hint. The florals on the nose were so uplifting loads of pepper, incense, reduced berries, flowers, beef jerky and wintergreen. The palate was showing it's youth with some green tannins but very complex and savory. Really looking forward to where this will age.
