Friday, March 20, 2015 - Way over ripe with an unhealthy dose of volatile acidity. Not worth the money I paid for it. Nearly undrinkable with dinner. Too concentrated & the volatile acidity was a big problem for me.

3/20/2015 5:02:00 PM - I can't speak to the VA issue, which looks like a bottle variation based on the notes below, and not something I much experience with. But a 2011 Wind Gap overripe? I've had a ton of WG Syrahs over the years and none of them have been overripe, and none of the other reviews suggest anything to that effect, and 2011 was a downright cold year. This review is an outlier.
