Wednesday, July 1, 2015 - Like the Manzanilla 17/71, this is from Argueso. Essentially a manzanilla pasada, having aged 5 years bio and 5 ox., this still has a lot of the dryness and briney/olivey qualities, and it's quite light and brisk. Not as deep or complex as the other wines from this firm, but a very pleasant wine, with touches of mushroom, toffee, orange peel, very linear and salty, and in that way kinda makes me think of Vina AB, which is also a non-fruity, not-so-aged Amontillado.
