Friday, June 12, 2015 - The cork seemed a little soft and spongey but still pulled good. As this is a Spanish wine, i expected it to taste more like a Rioja; it didn't, not entirely. This wine is blended from all across Spain and with different varieties and today it tasted like that. I couldn't place it exactly but regardless it was very decent and smooth. The tannins that I experienced in my tasting last year seem to have integrated. And after an hour in the glass, the wine changed, became crisper, more focused, and the fruit intensified. This would go well with meat dishes and perhaps even pizza. I'm going to take my time with the remaining bottles and stretch out consuming them over the next five years. Recommended.
