It was a waiter recommendation of a good value (Euro27) local, small production wine. We all liked it, but I did notice the unflattering aroma. It opened strong and was good right out of the bottle. As the meal wore on, the bouquet became more assertive and the wine began to droop a little. I think we shall experiment some more tomorrow.
