Friday, October 10, 2003 - Tasting three vintages of Chateau Lynch-Bages blind, second place. Lots of glycerine coating the glass, nose of cassis, cedar and leather, more of the same on the palate, saddle leather and cassis dominate the taste, lots of very soft tannins on the finish, needs seven to ten years. A lovely surprise.
