Friday, March 21, 2014 - Good deep crimson red under the light with just the slightest hint of brown pigment at the edge. Light cigar smoke on the nose along with a mixture of mulled red and black fruits. Very light, almost fatty, presence on the tongue, yet the tannins are quite firm. Lovely raspberries, white pepper, and a bit of blackberry at the mid-palate.

A bit of tobacco throughout with Cigar on the finish mixed with red fruits. The finish lingers quite a while. Overall, quite nice, but not the greatest QPR.
