Wednesday, May 20, 2015 - Powerful Rioja nose on opening: plenty of vanilla and mahogany. The palate rather a let-down: hollow mid-palate and a short finish. Spiky mouthfeel. I never really get Muga's Reserva; the Seleccion Especial is always so much better. More expensive for sure, but worth it; it's a wine that works.
