Saturday, November 7, 2015 - I’ve had two bottles (this bottle and one back in January) of this wine now, and both times it improved, markedly, with more air and showed best on night two after sitting in the cellar sans cork overnight. They both opened up a bit tired, showing decaying autumnal notes before gaining in freshness and intensity after getting a chance to breathe for a few hours. Once on, they displayed raspberry centric fruit flavors atop a core of earth tones and clean acidity that keeps it feeling nice and fresh. This is a nice wine and works well with food. If you decide to open one, be sure to give it a few hours of air before drinking.
