Wednesday, December 24, 2014 - Decanted for 20 minutes before serving. Served on Xmas eve with pork ribs and cornbread (I know this is not a traditional pairing, but my family is in town and I wanted to try this bottle). Wonderful example of an aged Brunelo. Nice cherry flavor with nicely intervoven tannins. Paired surprisingly well with BBQ ribs.

Continue to taste for 2 hours post dinner. Enjoyable even post food, but after about 90 minutes, lost the fruit and became a bit flat.
