Sunday, November 30, 2014 - I seldom drink Port. Perhaps a bottle or two a year. And without fail, every time I taste one of these older vintages, I'm reminded how much I like the wine. At just over 50 years of age, this thick, chocolate covered black cherry, spice box and strawberry jam filled wine hit the spot. Sweet, warm, velvety and mouth coating, it was a perfect late night surprise. Pairing it with aged Cubans late in the evening made it even better.
