Just an absolutely spectacular bottle of wine, drinking superbly right now with an array of ripe orchard fruits, lemon cream, mature smokiness, and a remarkably vivid stony/saline mineral character. Each sip seems to start with fruit up front, but turns savoury and rocky on the back end, leaving the impression that this came partly from fruit and partly from a rock quarry. The balance is impeccable, with powerful acidity keeping it really fresh and light on its feet, and incredible length.
