Monday, July 6, 2015 - Rule One: Drink this wine close to room temperature! Cold zaps it of its flavor and considerable charm. I was skeptical of a Mendocino Gewurz but found it spicy and fairly true to the varietal's traits. You get the lychee, grapefruit, the white pepper, the floral thing. Good intensity and minerals, too. Lengthy finish and a bit of alcohol heat.
