Wednesday, March 4, 2015 - Bring on the "French Funk." This was blatant barnyard on the nose from the very first minute. Everyone at the tasting was talking about it.
The nose was so pronounced that the gamy red fruit with garrigue and herbs was almost completely overshadowed.
This is a good wine, but not the greatness that Tempier has been in the past for me. I'd recommend aging a few years to see if everything here will come together and get better integrated.
