Monday, June 1, 2015 - Very tight and muted with exceptionally grippy tannins on day one (definitely needs more time). Re-corked and opened again the next day. Much more expressive with slightly stewed plum, rhubarb, raspberry, strawberry, baking spices and a hint of cedar which followed through on the pallet. Tannins were still a little aggressive but much easier to handle on the 2nd day. Very graceful and elegant. An absolutely gorgeous wine which needs at least five more years before it really comes into it's own. Can't wait!!
