On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed cherry, plum, some chocolate, coffee, spices, vanilla, tobacco, tea and earthy notes, with medium-plus acidity, medium-level tannin, moderate heat from the alcohol, a creamy mouthfeel and very good length.
