Sunday, May 17, 2015 - I brought this back from France in 2013. Bought it at the winery's store in the center of Arbois. I actually tasted it and it definitely wasn't like this. The notes of oxidation are prominent. On the nose and the color. The taste, less so, but there's still notes of an apple cut up and left exposed for day or so. I thought maybe it got damaged while I was traveling back but I see I'm not the only one experiencing this. I also checked the producer's website and see that they recommend to consume this within 6 years for freshness. I assume the earlier notes about lack of SO2 may be accurate. Unfortunate.
