Friday, September 9, 2011 - At first blush, this wine speaks Bordeaux. The nose and palate have a blue fruit/urethane/woody yet not quite barnyard thing that made my subconscious think old world.
It's a bit powerful (unctuous?), with tannins that still give it the ability to overcome meaty foods. It's a pity I have no more to examine in the future.
