Thursday, April 30, 2015 - Blinded, I guessed a '04 Grand Cru. Bricking on the rims. The green herbaceous aromas of 2004 was present though not overwhelmingly strong in the beginning. Other than that the palate was intense, structured and very clean. The intensity and overall depth led me to guess a Grand Cru though I couldn't pinpoint the exact village as the greenness did mask other aspects of the terroir. A vintage marked wine rather than terroir. Quite enjoyable drinking now though unfortunately at the end of the dinner the nose became overwhelmingly green and herbal.
